Human decision making is accompanied by a sense of confidence about the accuracy of decisions.

Such decision confidence is hypothesized to influence behavior, yet direct evidence for this is lacking.

Building on accumulation-to-bound models of decision making, we show that both behavioral and neural measures of confidence affect subsequent decision policy.
